Recently, zunpulse launched a voice control feature for some of its smart devices. These include the smart bulb, the smart downlight and the smart plug. From February 2021, customers were able to connect these smart devices to their smart speakers and make the most out of them. To make the setup easier for everyone, we have jotted down an easy-to-access guide.
Guide to setting up voice control with zunpulse smart devices
The zunpulse smart devices listed above are compatible with both, Alexa and Google Assistant. To enable voice control on these devices you should have smart speakers, like Alexa or Google Home mini. You also should have their respective mobile applications set up on your mobile phone.
In case you do not have these smart speakers, you may also set up voice control from your phone via Google Assistant with help of the Google Assistant mobile application. We will discuss the process of these after talking about smart speakers.
Connecting zunpulse smart devices with Alexa
Step 1
Open the zunpulse app and scroll down to the Alexa banner.
Step 2
Post clicking the same, a pop-up will open to select Alexa or Assistant, select Alexa here.
Step 3.
Now a new screen will open, select the “authenticate now” option.
Step 4.
Now, enter the amazon email id in the field provided and click “authenticate”
Step 5.
Once done, you will be redirected to a web page now select “open Alexa”
Step 6.
Now, enter your credentials which you have also used to authenticate the app.
Step 7.
Now select the “Enable to use” option.
Step 8.
After you have performed the above steps, your account will be successfully linked.

Connecting zunpulse smart devices with Google Home Mini
Step 1: Setting up your smart device
Easily set up your smart device by following the guidelines in the manual provided with your zunpulse smart device.
Step 2: Download the basics
For Google Home, download and set up the ‘Google Home’ app.
Step 3: Link to zunpulse
Now, you need to link your Google Home Mini speaker to your zunpulse account.
Say, ‘OK Google, Ask Pulse Home’ to your Google Home Mini smart speaker. You will be asked to connect to your zunpulse account. Now, follow the link that appears in the ‘Google Home’ app. In the screen that appears, enter your registered mobile number and click on ‘Get OTP’. Enter the OTP received and click on ‘Verify’. Now, click on ‘Allow’.

Connecting zunpulse smart devices with Google Assistant on your mobile phone
Step 1: Setting up your smart device
Easily set up your smart device by following the guidelines in the manual provided with your zunpulse smart device.
Step 2: Download the basics
For voice control from your phone, download and set up the ‘Google Assistant’ app.
Step 3: Link to zunpulse
Now, you need to link your Google Assistant to your zunpulse account.
In your phone, open the ‘Google Assistant’ app, and say, ‘OK Google, Ask Pulse Home’. You will be asked to connect to your zunpulse account. Click on ‘Yes’. In the pop up that appears, choose your Google account to be connected to your zunpulse account. Now, in the screen that appears, enter your registered mobile number and click on ‘Get OTP’. Enter the OTP received and click on ‘Verify’. Now, click on ‘Allow’.
